will.i.am protégé Jaz Ellington announces live show at Noon ’til Moon

By February 21, 2020 No Comments

In the first of a string of lineup announcements for Noon ’til Moon 2020, we are delighted to bring you news that the phenomenal vocalist, Jaz Ellington, brings his full live band to Castle Street.

The talented singer-songwriter from London’s voice is a powerhouse of an instrument, and his music is as equally versatile by nature – echoing influences of gospel, jazz, soul and funk, melded together with the soul of musicians like Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross.

Jaz spent his formative years developing his sound, refining his tastes, and even accomplishing a number of musical achievements. One particular hallmark of his success was his participation as a contestant on the renowned talent show “The Voice UK ”, where he performed a ground-breaking rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’, stirring up a frenzy on social media.

In fact, will.i.am shed a tear, commenting in the following week’s show that Jaz has ‘Got soul in a bowl, you’ve got soul on a pole!’. Jaz went on to be mentored by Will, in and out of the show. Check out this very special moment HERE

Since then, Jaz has gone on to perform various gigs around the country and internationally, and has even opened for the legendary Lauryn Hill. He has also landed himself the opportunity to work with will.i.am on a project for NASA.

We look forward to welcoming Jaz and his band for back-to-back party hits on the main stage, as the evening energy at Noon ’til Moon is taken to another level.
