The award-winning Zim Braai to feature at Noon ‘til Moon 2020
Noon ‘til Moon is delighted to announce that Zim Braai, the stylish African food concept that has gone down a storm since launching in Ashley Cross in late 2018, will be showcasing its time honoured cooking at 2020’s gathering.
Restaurant entrepreneur, Andy Lennox, has brought a new dimension to food lovers with the launch of Zim Braai – a home for the tastes and vibrant music and atmosphere of Southern Africa.
With flame-grilled meat and fish from the braai, aromatic stews and Malay Curries in traditional cast iron ‘potjie’ dishes and fresh superfood salads, the menu draws on a rich palette of flavours from across the region.
From the islands of the Seychelles, Zanzibar and Madagascar to the savannahs of Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, the region has a deep culinary heritage, strongly influenced by its historic trading links across the world.
Andy Lennox launched this brand a decade after launching Koh, which became one of the most successful Thai restaurant groups in the south west.
Andy Lennox said: “This is an exciting new chapter for me – we have just announced our second site opening in Bournemouth town centre in April. The boutique group is new, innovative and exciting.
“Southern Africa offers diverse food and culture. We plan to open minds and tantalise taste-buds, with our new food frontier – served with European flair – and supported with exemplary customer service, in a truly spirited atmosphere.”
At Noon ‘til Moon, a selection of ‘on-the-go’ Braai will be on offer, giving guests the chance to sample an exciting new addition to this year’s event.
